To meet demand we have another van on the road from Monday and our growing number of security system customers will be able to live track this van all the way to their home or business property thanks to our recent investment in our new job scheduling and management system. Earlier this year we launched our new job scheduling software, bringing efficiency and operational benefits to both our customers and our team. You can now, for example, live-track an engineer's vehicle as they start travelling to your job. This week, we are delighted to improve our customer experience further, as we go live with 'booking confirmation' emails. Just about ready!

All of our electrical and security system teams have received well deserved positive feedback recently and it is recognition for their hard work. We have mentioned before that the last 18 months has not been easy for us or for many companies. We will not hide behind smoke and mirrors on social media pretending everything is or has been rosy and without any problems. Our ability to fulfil our services has been stretched at times during the pandemic and our waiting times have been longer than in the past. Our friends at Sir Walter Scott Steamship on Loch Katrine have launched an urgent SOS - Save our Steamship appeal to restore the much loved 121-year-old steamer.
£500,000 is needed to restore the historic steamer, which is currently not sailing as she requires a new boiler and other significant repairs. These funds will have to be secured by the end of this year to allow work to begin in time to allow sailing in the National Park in summer 2022.
