OLEV grant support news.
On 12th March 2020 the UK Government OLEV department (Office for Low Emission Vehicles) announced that the maximum grant available for the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme would reduce from £500.00 to £350.00
The new £350.00 value will apply to home electric vehicle charge points installed from 1st April 2020.
Since the announcement we have been in contact with a number of customers to offer our support with an earlier installation date if certain criteria was met, such as delivery date of vehicle. We are pleased that we have been able to accommodate all of these customers who will now benefit with installation during March 2020.
We will also be in touch with customers who have open quotations with us to notify them that existing quotations will now be subject to the new £350.00 OLEV grant value.
Additionally, all new quotations from 13th March 2020 will be based on the £350.00 OLEV grant value.
If you are considering an electric vehicle the grant value available towards the costs of installing a charge point at your home still provides good financial assistance with £650.00 available if your property is in Scotland.
Our OLEV approved charge point installation service is carried out by our own experienced qualified electricians and our office team provide advice and assistance to help our customers receive both the OLEV and Energy Savings Trust Scotland grants up to the combined value of £650.00
