Escaping the unpredictable Scottish weather this summer
Then now is the time to make sure your property is secure back home while you enjoy the sun and beach or the cultural sights of a European city www.stirlingalarms.co.uk Don't leave upgrading the external lights at your house or business property until the darker nights in late Autumn when weather conditions are poorer.
Happy Birthday to us #SES25
It all began 25 years ago today on 8 October 1996. Thank you to everyone past and present, team members and customers who have been part of our journey so far. Here’s to another 25 years and onwards towards #SES50 Due to team development time our office will be closed on Tuesday 7th September 2021 between the hours of 10am and 3pm.
Our office answer machine will be on to collect urgent messages and our email addresses will still be monitored. Earlier this year we launched our new job scheduling software, bringing efficiency and operational benefits to both our customers and our team. You can now, for example, live-track an engineer's vehicle as they start travelling to your job. This week, we are delighted to improve our customer experience further, as we go live with 'booking confirmation' emails. Like today in the height of summer and also in the darkness of winter our security systems protect your home and business throughout the year.
From standalone sounder systems only, to smartphone control and notification, to our 24/7 monitoring centre with optional police response. Security systems designed and installed to your exact requirements with trustworthy and honest engineers and office team providing a professional and efficient installation and aftercare service. Message or contact us for further details. http://www.stirlingalarms.co.uk Our friends at Sir Walter Scott Steamship on Loch Katrine have launched an urgent SOS - Save our Steamship appeal to restore the much loved 121-year-old steamer.
£500,000 is needed to restore the historic steamer, which is currently not sailing as she requires a new boiler and other significant repairs. These funds will have to be secured by the end of this year to allow work to begin in time to allow sailing in the National Park in summer 2022. If you can, please support the appeal to get Sir Walter Scott Steamship back into operation for current and future generations to enjoy sailing on Loch Katrine. #TeamSES #HappyBirthdayHamish As a country we have entered a crucial stage in the fightback against COVID-19 and as we all play a part in that fightback and in line with current Scottish Government announcements some of our day to day electrical and security system services are currently on hold.
But we continue to provide services such as security alarm and electrical emergency repairs, essential maintenance and testing and this will involve us entering your home or business property and we understand the concerns that this brings to both our customers and our team members. That is why this week we have fully launched the "No Touch Signatures" feature of our new digital job scheduling software. So what does that mean. In April and May 2020 during the peak of the first lockdown period we expedited our plan to look at ways in which we could operate as a company more remotely, efficiently and safely. We embarked at that time on an ambitious project to totally change the way our day to day operations are carried out.
