This weekend when you change your clocks please test your smoke alarms as well - oh and make sure there are batteries in them.

A working smoke alarm can buy you and your family the valuable time you need to get out of a house fire and call 999.

Please Support Our Charity Challenge
In late 2012 we sadly lost one of our staff and a good friend to Cancer. Maureen was a much loved member of our team and was also very popular with our customers, who warmed to her hearty nature and enthusiasm. Her loss at a young age was obviously devastating to her family and friends.

In a tribute to Maureen, Managing Director Scott McLean signed up for a charity challenge - to raise funds by completing a series of organised running events throughout Scotland that would total at least 100 kilometres in 2013.

Scott is now approaching the end of the challenge with the final event being the 'Santa Dash' in December.

Cancer Research and Strathcarron Hospice are our chosen charities and it would be a great boost to them if you would consider sponsoring Scott and donating a few pounds to the cause.

We recently installed new ceiling track lighting at Country Pursuits in Bridge of Allan.

Black ceiling track, cable and trunking was installed with high output LED lamps in daylight colour to give a crisp energy efficient effect.

On Sunday our Managing Director Scott McLean completed his 85th kilometre in his 110k 2013 Charity Running Challenge in aid of Cancer Research ad Strathcarron Hospice.

We will be publishing more details this coming week in the hope that you can donate a few pounds to these wonderful charities.

We are gearing ourselves up for a busy winter season here at Stirling Electrical Services....it's not as if we have not been busy over the warmer and lighter months but the traditional lighting and heating season is now upon us so it's time to restock, recharge and get ourselves ready for the busy months ahead.

Two new members have joined our team over the past months (one office member and one engineer) and they have both settled in well and have been a pleasing boost to our team.

We have come through a tough past 18 months regarding personnel and we are now looking forward to getting back up to full steam and making sure we keep to our promise of "Professional Efficient Service from enquiry to job completion".
